Japan-bound, 6 weeks!

Salutations and regards, my fellow fuckwards.

I am certain that my glamarous jaunt towards Japan has become well known among my circles, therefore I will begin my travel logs at present. My mother, being a travel agent, has been extending a gratouitous amount of help for my buddy(Murray) and I. Itineraries to counties as ambitious as Japan cast a strong, mystical amplified Confuse 3 spell on even the most-adept of travellers. Luckily, my mom pwns your mom…. and the travel industry.

So far, planning has been smooth with regards to hotel booking. Starting two months early has given us a headstart at first-choice hostels, and having a well composed itinerary made the whole process simplified. So we start in Nartita…

I forsee immigration to be just as stressful as any other landing zone, and it should be. Them terrorizers these days can be anyone, even YOU! It was advised by my travel agent(because I’m 23, I’d rather not use the word mom) to bow slightly and verbalize a friendly konichiwa. Passport on hand, I’ll flash it with the “hardcore face” like Gyeon-woo did in My Sassy Girl at the bar… as if! They would totally audit my shit after pulling a super dave like that. Shortly after recollecting my luggs, I’ll meet up with Murray and from there on begins our…

Odyssey Nihongo

I will be updating this blog with more travel plans as the weeks pass, but here is a quick overview of the trip and what to expect from my next few posts.

- The exchanging of my JR Pass coupon for a JR Pass <— VERY EXCITING!

- The dropping of our shit at Sawanoya Ryokan, and first night of our Tokyo expidition which includes Tokyo University(Love Hina! If only we planned this trip in the winter time xD), Imperial Palace, the dog monument in Shibuya, and all the fab trend-happy females walking around. Oh and I can’t forget the Pokemon Stadium!

- Hiroshima would be our next stop to experience the cultural history of Nihon, and of course cultural ladies in Kimonos and Yukatas.

- Osaka: Universal Studios!

- Kyoto: As a gamer I have to check this place out. BEHOLD, THE NINTENDO HEADQUARTERS!

- Finally, The most exciting(imho) part of our trip… we take on Mt. Fuji…..

- After our casual everyday climb one of the world’s largest volcanoes, Nagano is our choice of rest. Go winter Olympics!

- Two more nights back in Tokyo of swashbuckling.
- A whole lot of video editing.
- Back to work… might ask this one girl out.
